ORDER

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent contended that the petitioner was blacklisted for a period of two years vide order dated 6.1.2018 and the tenure of two years has come to an end by 6.1.2020 and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that there are certain adverse findings in the order of blacklisting the petitioner, which might come in the future works of the petitioner.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent contended that the petitioner will be at liberty to participate in the future contracts and his case can be considered in accordance with law.

Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the considered view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication as the tenure of blacklisting has come to an end by 6.1.2020.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. It is needless to state that the petitioner can participate in the future contracts, if any, and the respondent shall consider his case, in accordance with law. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
