THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.37633 of 2016 ORDER:
Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in not admitting him to duties in spite of the fact that he had been acquitted in a criminal case in S.C.No.550 of 2014 on 01.05.2015.
Petitioner had submitted a representation dated 31.07.2015 to the second respondent seeking to revoke his suspension and for admitting him to duties in view of the acquittal in the above criminal case. Learned counsel for petitioner states that the second respondent has not passed orders thereon and more than one year elapsed since the submission of the said representation. Learned Government Pleader for Services appearing for respondents states that the second respondent will consider petitioner's representation within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated
31.07.2015 for admitting him to duties as Home Guard within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
