This Criminal Petition is filed under Sections 480 and 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, 'BNSS') by the petitioner-accused No.1, seeking bail in Crime No.241 of 2025 of Saroornagar Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate, registered for the offence punishable under Section 80 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNS').

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jithender Rao, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent-State. Perused the record. 3.

The case of the prosecution, in brief, is that the petitioner herein, alleged to have subjected deceased-victim to cruelty and demanded dowry and used to threaten deceased and her daughter stating that he would put posters in the entire village. The deceased having vexed with the attitude of the accused has committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan and leaving suicide note and as per the suicide note, the petitioner is made responsible for the suicide of the deceased.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner herein was falsely implicated in the offence and he has nothing to do with the offence and was roped into the said offence. He further submitted that the petitioner and complainant are living separately at the time of suicide. He further contended that petitioner herein is in judicial custody since 03.04.2025 and hence, he prayed to grant regular bail to the petitioner herein.

Having heard both sides and perused the entire material on record, though there are allegations made against the petitioner, according to the petitioner he is in judicial custody since 03.04.2025 and as major part of the investigation being concluded, this Court is of the considered view that petitioner/accused No.1 is entitled for grant of bail, subject to the following conditions: (i) The petitioner-accused No.1 shall be released on bail on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned V Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-V Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, L.B.Nagar, Ranga Reddy District.

(ii) After release, the petitioner-accused No.1 shall appear before the concerned S.H.O. at 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. on first and third Sunday of every month for a period of eight

(8) weeks or till filing of the charge sheet, whichever is earlier, for the purpose of investigation, and thereafter, as and when required.

(iii) After release, if the petitioner-accused No.1 indulges in any offence, the respondentState is entitled to file an application seeking cancellation of the bail granted by this Court in his favour.

(iv) The petitioner-accused No.1 shall abide by the other conditions stipulated in Section 480(3) of BNSS and shall co-operate with the investigation.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is allowed.

Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
