HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.6685 of 2006 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in pursuance of the interim order passed by this Court on 22.09.2008, the cases of the petitioners were considered and rejected for appointment to the post of Office Boy/Library Boy in the backlog vacancies of the 1st respondent College vide order dated 23.10.2008, therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioners contents that liberty be given to the petitioners to challenge the said rejection order dated 23.10.2008.

In view of the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is given to the petitioners to challenge the rejection order dated 23.10.2008. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
