M/S. Supra Ads, Rep. By Its Proprietor v. The Project Director, National Highway Authority Of India
THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.20903 of 2008 ORDER:
Sri V.V.Anil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner had questioned the action of the respondents in removing the hoardings erected by them, though the contract period was in subsistence till the year 2010.
While the writ petition was filed in the year 2008, the contract period expired in the year 2010 more than seven years ago. It is evident, therefore, that the cause in the writ petition does not survive, and the writ petition has become infructuous.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
