HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.1778 of 2017 ORDER :

Learned counsel for the petitioner, having gone through the instructions given to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor by the Sub-Inspector of Police, RSASTF Police Station, Chittoor District, that the seized property, which is the subject matter herein, was produced before the concerned Forest Range Officer, who is the competent authority, to dispose of the property as per the procedure laid down in the Forest Act, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to move the concerned Authority under the Forest Act.

Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the criminal petition is dismissed as withdrawn. It is open to the petition to seek remedy before the appropriate Forum. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
