ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the inaction of respondent No.2 in disposing of the petitioner's representation, dated 11.03.2015, and in issuing proceedings vide Lr.No.A/5889/TPS/HO/GHMC/2014, dated 21.01.2015, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the hearing, it has come out that after the interim order granted by this Court initially for a limited period expired and before the same was extended, the statue in question has already been erected.

In this view of the matter, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous and the writ petition is accordingly dismissed as such. However, if the petitioner seeks to question the erection of the statue, it shall be free to avail a fresh remedy. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order, dated 24.03.2015, extended from time to time, shall stand vacated and WP.MP.Nos.9859 & 29380 of 2015 and WV.MP.Nos.2473 & 2685 of 2015 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
