THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.BHASKAR REDDY Contempt Case No.119 of 2017 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of orders dated 14.03.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.5372 of 2016. By the above said order this Court has directed Karimnagar Municipal Corporation to consider the petitioner's construction permission application dated 07.05.2015 in accordance with law and take appropriate action thereon. In the event the petitioner's request for such permission is rejected, the reasons shall be recorded and duly communicated to him. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

On 03.02.2017 this Court observed that there is delay in the disposal of the application in terms of the order passed by this Court, and this Court directed learned counsel for the contesting respondent to file counter affidavit.

Counter affidavit has been filed on 22.07.2019 stating that the petitioner's application for seeking regularization has been rejected vide order dated 04.07.2016.

In these circumstances, this contempt case is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner, if any cause survives, to file fresh application seeking revival of the contempt case in accordance with law.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
