HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WIRT PETITION No.14861 OF 2009 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed questioning the proceedings in Rc.No.1298/2009-D, dated 14.07.2009 issued by the 1st respondent, disqualifying the petitioner from continuing as Chief Promoter/Board of Directors of the Nandamuri Tharaka Rama Lift Irrigation Mutually Aided Cooperative Society Limited, Narsimhulagudem, Kusumanchi Mandal, Khammam District. This Court while admitting the writ petition on 24.07.2009 suspended the impugned proceedings. When the matter is taken up for final hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the election for the Society is normally for a period of five years and the period of five years from the date of impugned proceedings dated 14.07.2009 has already been over by 2014 itself, therefore, the petitioner is required to be elected once again. In that view of the matter, no further orders need to be passed in this writ petition.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
