Order:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
"issue a writ, order or direction especially one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the University in declaring a) that the petitioners have failed in the P.G. Course as arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India b) That the Petitioners are entitled to get the percentage secured by them
rounded off to the nearest figure c) that 49.75% (in case of petitioner Nos. 1 to 3) or 49.66% (in the case of petitioner No.4) shall be treated as 50% in the theory examination and on that basis, declare the petitioners to have passed in the P.G.
Course."
At the hearing, Mr.A.Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent- University, submitted that as the academic course of the petitioners has been completed, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication. The Counsel for the petitioners is not present to oppose this submission.
In the light of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondentUniversity, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
