HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION No. 21970 OF 2015 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. The petitioner, in the instant writ petition, seeks production of Md. Rizvi @ Kafthan, who, according to him, has been illegally detained in Central Prison, Cherlapally, Ranga Reddy District. Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that Md. Rizvi @ Kafthan has been detained under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot Leggers, Dacoits, Drug-Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers Act, 1986 and the order of detention was passed on 21-04-2015. The petitioner has not challenged the order of detention till today.

In view thereof, the prayer made in the writ petition cannot be entertained. Hence, the petition is dismissed as not maintainable with liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate remedy for redressal of his grievance.
