Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

Petitioner claims that he is the owner and possessor of lands to an extent of Acs.4.94 cents in Survey No.565/1, Acs.4.94 cents in Survey No.566/2 and Acs.4.82 cents in Survey No.569/2, totaling to Acs.14.70 cents, of Bandlapalle Village, Nimmanapalli Mandal, Chittoor District, having purchased the same by way of registered sale deed, dated 20.10.2012, through open auction, dated 22.08.2012, conducted by the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society. Since the date of purchase, he is in possession and enjoyment of the said lands. He made application in Form VI-A for grant of pattadar passbook and title deeds under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971. The said application, dated 02.09.2015, was received in Mee-seva centre and a receipt to that effect was issued to the petitioner. Alleging inaction on the said application, this Writ Petition is filed.

Since it is contended by the petitioner that he made application in Form VI-A to the Tahsildar and the same is pending before him, the Tahsildar, Nimmanapalle Mandal, Chittoor District, the 2nd respondent, is directed to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his application and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible

preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
