THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.38240 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to call for the records in FIR No.87 of 2016 and to quash the same.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The case of the petitioners is that the 3rd respondent lodged the present complaint against the petitioners before the 2nd respondent alleging that the marriage between the 3rd respondent and A-1 was performed on 07.01.2016 and that A-1 and the petitioners treated her well for about some days and later, they started harassing the 3rd respondent for want of additional dowry. The main grievance of the petitioners is that the 3rd respondent, in order to harass the petitioners, lodged the present complaint with false and frivolous allegations. Considering the grievance of the petitioners, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the investigation in FIR No.87 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioners. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ RAJA ELANGO,J Date: 8th November, 2016 KL
