HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 18423 OF 2003 ORDER :
When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents contends that the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking terminal benefits of the deceased employee. He further contends that vide proceedings dated 8.2.2003 and 27.5.2003, the respondents have insisted for Succession Certificate to be produced by the petitioner. He further contends that the petitioner has produced Succession Certificate during the year 2009 and that the terminal benefits were sanctioned during 2009 and contends that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive.
This Court, having considered the said submission, is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to settle the terminal benefits, if not already settled, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
