B.Lakshmi v. General Manager,Ss Colleries Co Ltd,Kngr And 2 Others
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 25463 of 2002 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in rejecting the case of the petitioner's son for being promoted in any suitable post under Dependent Employment Scheme, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to provide a suitable employment to petitioner's son under Dependant Employment Scheme.
Heard Sri K. Vasudeva Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri J. Srinivasa Rao, learned standing counsel for the respondents.
I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. The contention of the petitioner is that she had submitted an application to the respondents seeking to consider the case of her son for employment in any suitable post under Dependant Employment Scheme, but the same was rejected vide orders dated 13.09.1997. But, the said orders were not challenged by the petitioner in the present writ petition. Further, the case of the petitioner's son was rightly rejected basing on the report of the Medical Superintendent that the petitioner's son was found unfit due to Bil-mixed deafness with poorly developed speech. There are no merits in the writ petition.
Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
