Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to avail the alternative remedy and a letter dated 23.10.2017 is filed to that effect before the Registry. Permission is accorded and, accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty to the petitioners to avail the alternative remedy available to them under law. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
