This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent authorities in taking up the process of the promotion of the village revenue assistants as Village Revenue Officers without extending the benefit for such promotion as given to the candidates in the year 2012 as per G.O.Ms.No.231, dated 11.04.2012 to the petitioners as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 29.07.2017, 24.07.2017 and 07.07.2017.
