This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, challenging the action of the respondents 1 to 3 in not granting revised pensionery benefits with effect from 01.04.2014 in terms of TOO (Addl.Secy/Per) Ms.No.237, dated 20.12.2014, issued by the first respondent by treating the retirement of the petitioner as First day of the succeeding month i.e., 01.04.2014 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India.
2. According to the petitioner, he worked in the respondent organisation and retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.03.2006. The respondent organisation vide TOO (Addl.Secy/Per) Ms.No.237, dated 20.12.2014, ordered revision of pay scales of its employees with effect from 01.04.2014.
3. In the above background, the petitioner herein submitted a representation dated 12.03.2015 to the first respondent organisation requesting the benefit under the said order.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that earlier one Sri N.Balaraju, Assistant Accounts Officer of Eluru Circle approached this Court by way of filing W.P.No.16613/2008 and this Court directed the respondents therein to consider his claim for fixation of pension in terms of the A.P. Transco Revised Pay Scales 2006 and the writ appeal filed against the said order ended in dismissal.
5. The complaint of the petitioner herein is that despite lapse of considerable length of time, no action has been taken by the respondent authorities in the direction of addressing the grievance of the petitioner as stated in his representation dated 12.03.2015. In the circumstances,
this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the representation dated 12.03.2015 by fixing some time frame.

For the aforesaid reasons, writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents herein to take appropriate action on the representation dated 12.03.2015 submitted by the petitioner herein, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order, in accordance with law. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand disposed of.
