CONTEMPT CASE No.168 of 2015 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging that in spite of order of status quo granted against all further proceedings pursuant to the notification under Section 4(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, concerning the subject properties, Gazette notification was issued on 03.12.2014 publishing in Addendum on the subject properties.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, counsel representing Advocate General circulated a copy of Memo dated 27.02.2015, wherein it was stated that since there was miscommunication, the gazette notification was issued and necessary steps are being initiated to withdraw the same.

3. Recording the same, the contempt case is closed. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
