HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 13744 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in preventing the petitioners from discharging their duties without passing any order in writing and without disclosing any reasons, as illegal and arbitrary. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is reported by the learned counsel for the petitioners that while admitting the writ petition, this Court directed the 3rd respondent to permit the petitioners to discharge their duties as conductors, vide orders dated 29.07.2002 in WPMP No.17110 of 2002, and by virtue of the interim orders, the petitioners are continuing in service. Therefore, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
