O R D E R

Heard both the counsel.

2 . Complaining that the respondents have not complied with the orders of this court dated 24.6.2013 in W.P.No.16440/2010, the present contempt case is filed.

3 . The petitioners claiming that their immovable property has been taken away by the respondents authorities for road widening without providing them any alternative accommodation, earlier filed W.P.No.13446/2001 and by order dated 4.7.2001, this court disposed of the writ petition by directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for grant of house site pattas within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. As the respondents have not complied with the orders of this court, the writ petitioners got issued legal notice and as there was no response, have chosen to file the present writ petition in W.P.No.16440/2010 and this court by order dated 24.6.2013 directed the respondents to consider the legal notice dated 23.9.2009, taking into consideration the order dated 4.7.

2001 passed by this court in W.P.No.13446/2001 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order. Complaining that the respondents have not complied with the orders of this court, the contempt is filed.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue produced a copy of the proceedings in Roc.E6/4939/2013 dated 8.4.2015 issued by the District Collector, Chitoor and submitted that in compliance of the orders of this court, the case of the petitioners was considered and rejected by the said proceedings dated 8.4.2015.

5. In view of the proceedings dated 8.4.2015 issued by the District Collector, Chittoor, I do not find any contempt on the part of the respondents and the contempt case is accordingly closed. No costs.

6. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed. AVS ------------------------------------- 10-04-2015
