O R D E R

Aggrieved by the proceedings dated 19.07.2017 in not extending the revised pay scales, the petitioner filed W.P.No.25344 of 2017. This court by order dated 24.10.2017 set aside he said proceedings on the ground of violation of principles of natural justice and gave liberty to the competent authority to take action in accordance with Rules after issuing notice to the petitioner. Alleging that respondents have violated the order of this court, the writ petitioner filed the present contempt case.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. In the counter affidavit filed by the 1st respondent in the contempt case, it is stated that the order of this court has been complied with and at paragraph No.3 it is stated as under:

". . . Pursuant to the said order of this Hon'ble Court, the contempt petitioner was also paid the revised salary for the month of July, 2017 by applying the pay scales of 2002, 2006 and 2010 on 05-05-2018. The delay in paying the said amount is neither willful, nor wanton. As such, the order of this Hon'ble Court has been complied with in toto." No reply affidavit filed is filed.

In view of the above statement made in the counter affidavit, I do not find any violation of the orders of this court and the contempt case is accordingly dismissed.

If the petitioner is still aggrieved and is entitled to any amount, he is at liberty to agitate the same in accordance with law. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs. ---------------------------------------------- A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J DATE:21-10-2019 AVS
