ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in issuing proceedings dated 16.06.2003 without absorbing the petitioner in the aided post of B.Ed., Assistant (Social Studies), which fell vacant w.e.f. 01.08.2002, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the 5th respondent submitted that the 5th respondent School was closed long back and the petitioner was not continuing in the said School.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the question of absorbing the petitioner in the aided vacancy does not arise and there are no merits in the writ petition.

In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
