HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 19044 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in giving two trades to the petitioner as painter cum trimmer though the respondents had given only one trade to others as per letter dated 23.08.2002.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he is an handicapped person and inspite of the same, the respondents are giving two trades as painter cum trimmer and not considering his case. To that effect he submitted a representation to the respondents on 05.08.2002, but so far, the respondents have not passed any orders on the said representation.

This Court is of the considered view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.08.2002.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.08.2002 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law. It is also made clear that the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon receiving such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders.
