Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 3. 2.

Petitioner obtained lease for a period of 99 years over the land to an extent of Ac.1.11 cents in Survey No.216/13 of J.R.

Kandrika Revenue Village, Yerrareddypalem Village, Lingasamudram Mandal, Prakasam District, from assignee on 13.07.2016. Petitioner now alleges that an attempt is being made to dispossess him from the said assigned land. 3.

The very averments in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition would disclose that lease is obtained on assigned land, which is contrary to the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977. If that is so, petitioner cannot pre-empt the competent authority from taking action as warranted by law. The Writ Petition is misconceived and the same is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
