THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.13994 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, the main grievance is with regard to non completion of the investigation into case in Crime No.135 of 2018, registered, on 10.04.2018, by the Station House Officer, Koyyalagudem Police Station, West Godavari District, the 2nd respondent herein, for the offences punishable under Section 506 read with 34 IPC. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if the police officer is directed to expedite the investigation into the afore-stated crime and do the needful in the matter in accordance with law, the ends of justice would be met.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on oral instructions, would submit that the crime has been registered very recently, that is, on 10.04.2018, and that investigation perhaps is at the nascent stage. Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to expedite the investigation into the aforestated crime and file a final report either way by strict adherence to the procedure established by law.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
