Heard learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. The grievance of the petitioners in the present Writ Petition is non-disposal of their applications, dated 24.06.2006, filed under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that if any such applications are pending consideration before the authorities, the same will be verified and proper action will be taken, strictly in accordance with law. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent-authorities to verify and pass appropriate Orders on the applications, dated 24.06.2006, said to have been filed by the petitioners, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
