HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI I.A.No.2 of 2019 In/and CRIMINAL PETITION No.4693 of 2018 And I.A.No. 4 of 2019 In/and CRIMINAL PETITION No.4127 of 2019 COMMON ORDER:

Criminal Petition No.4127 of 2019 is filed by accused No.1 and Criminal Petition No.4693 of 2018 is filed by accused No.2 in C.C.No.282 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Special Mobile (PCR) Court at Karimnagar, to quash the proceedings in the above C.C. A charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2.
Since the issue in both the matters is interconnected, both these petitions are disposed of by this common order. 3.
During pendency of those proceedings, I.A.No.2 of 2019 in Crl.P.No.4693 of 2018 and I.A.No.4 of 2019 in Crl.P.No.4127 of 2019 came to be filed to record the compromise. Along with the petitions, a joint memo which is signed by the parties and their counsel came to be filed, inter alia stating that at the intervention of elders and well wishers, the parties have settled their disputes in terms of compromise. The said joint memo has been supported by the affidavit of the second respondent. 4.
Today, both the parties are present before this Court and they were identified by their respective counsel. This Court, when
examined, both the parties have stated that at the instance of the elders, they have settled the matter out of the Court and the second respondent in both the Criminal Petitions has no objection for quashing the proceedings against the petitioners. 5.
In the light of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the compromise memo filed by both the parties is recorded and I.A.No.2 of 2019 in Crl.P.No.4693 of 2018 and I.A.No.4 of 2019 in Crl.P.No.4127 of 2019 are ordered. 6.
Accordingly, both the Criminal Petitions are allowed in terms of compromise, and the proceedings in C.C.No.282 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Special Mobile (PCR) Court at Karimnagar, against the petitioners in both the Criminal Petitions are hereby quashed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
