Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.
Learned Standing Counsel for GHMC has stated that there is no proposal as such to widen the road.
Learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition has stated that they will follow the due process of law if any land is to be acquired before dispossessing the petitioners herein. Without going into the merits of the matter and recording the submission made by the learned counsel, the writ petitions are disposed of with the consent of both the parties at the admission stage itself. In case the land of the petitioner in all these cases is required for road widening or any other purposes the official respondents shall follow the procedure established by law. With the above direction, the writ petitions are disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
