Heard both sides.
The grievance of the petitioners is that as against the order dated 04.01.2014 passed by the 4th respondent refusing to mutate their names in the revenue records as successors in interest of Smt.Burugu Kalavathi, who expired on 19.08.1993, they filed appeal under Section 5(5) of A.P.Records and Rights and Pattedar Passbook
Act, 1971 before the 3rd respondent. The appeal came to be filed on 18.02.2014. The grievance of the petitioners is that though an order has passed, the 3rd respondent had not commenced proceedings. Considering the limited grievance of the petitioners, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to take up the appeal filed by the petitioners against the order of the 4th respondent, dated 04.01.2014 and dispose of the same on merits, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of 6 (six) month from today.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
