Learned counsel for the petitioners is present. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana would submit that the Investigating Officer filed a report stating that due to 'lack of evidence' the investigation could not be finalized and therefore, sought permission of the Court to close the Crime.

In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the cause in this criminal petition does not survive for further adjudication.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
