O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the revenue authorities were not considering his representation, whereby he sought incorporation of his name in the revenue records and issuance of a pahani in relation to the subject land. It is his case that survey report dated 12.03.2014 was forwarded by the Mandal Surveyor, Khammam. However, no action has been taken pursuant thereto. The petitioner's representation is dated 18.09.2014 and was addressed to the Tahsildar, Khammam Rural Mandal. Perusal of the copy thereof reflects that it was duly received by the Tahsildar, Khammam Rural Mandal, on 19.09.2014. In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no adjudication is called for in this writ petition at this stage.

It is for the authority concerned to apply its mind to the request made by the petitioner through his representation dated 18.09.2014 and pass appropriate reasoned orders thereon in accordance with law. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed with the above direction. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
