Subhash Reddy) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the statutory appellate authority is functioning, the petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of the said authority by filing an appeal and as such, does not intend to pursue this writ petition.

In view of the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed, permitting the petitioner to pursue the appeal stated to have been filed before the statutory appellate authority. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
