ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Crime No.120 of 2018 on the file of Gajwel Police Station, Siddipet District, registered for the offences under Sections 406, 417, 420, 504, 506-II, 120-B IPC and under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C., against the petitioners/A1 and A2. 2.

Though the petitioners have raised several grounds to quash the aforesaid proceedings, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to direct the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar and another1. 3.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for petitioners, without going into the merits of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar's case (supra). Till then, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioners/A1 and A2. 4.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
