THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI Writ Petition No.14053 of 2018 ORDER:

The only grievance of the writ petitioner in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is in respect of non-completion of investigation into the case in Crime no.353 of 2017 on the file of Banjara Hills Police Station and non-filing of the final report in accordance with the procedure established by law.

I have heard the submissions of Sri P.Ravi Kiran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (TS) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record. 3.

At the hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to the police concerned to expedite the investigation and file a final report, either way, the ends of justice would be met.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (TS) endorses the said submission.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Banjara Hills Police Station, to expedite investigation into the aforesaid crime and file a final report, either way, as expeditiously as possible by strict adherence to the procedure established by law. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
