HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT CONTEMPT CASE No.446 of 2017 ORDER : (Oral) Vide order dated 13th October 2016 passed in W.P.No.31958 of 2016, the respondents in the writ petition were directed to consider the representation dated 22nd August 2016 made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. It was further directed to communicate the decision taken in writing to the petitioners within a period of three days thereafter. 2.

The present contempt case is filed on the ground that the respondents have not complied with the directions of this Court and no communication is received by the petitioners.

The respondent herein has filed detailed counter affidavit, whereby, it is established that the Government machinery came in the motion after the directions of this Court, however, the mistake committed by the respondent is that the steps taken have not been communicated to the petitioners. 4.

Now, the copy of the counter affidavit is supplied to the counsel for the petitioners and if the petitioners are aggrieved of any of the action or inaction of the respondent, they may challenge the same before appropriate forum. 5.

Keeping in view the steps taken as explained in the counter affidavit, I hereby discharge the notice of contempt against the respondent. 6.

Contempt case is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
