This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused No.4, seeking anticipatory bail under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), in connection with Crime No.412 of 2025 of Saroornagar Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376(2)(n), 354A and 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC'). 2.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner in the morning session and in the afternoon session either physical mode or virtual mode.

Heard Mr. Syed Yasar Mamoon, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent/State. 4.
The case of the prosecution in brief is that since 2020, the complainant was friends with Kanta Varalakshmi, who in 2021 forcibly introduced her to her brother, Durga Prasad. He pressured the complainant to communicate with him and, when she refused, blackmailed her with morphed photos. Out of fear, she was forced to

stay in contact with him. In August 2021, Durga Prasad came to the complainant's home while she was alone, forcibly had sexual intercourse with her without her consent, and secretly recorded it. He then used the video to repeatedly blackmail and exploit her. In November 2023, Durga Prasad shared the videos with his friend, accused No.2, who obtained the complainant's phone number through his wife and began blackmailing her into making a nude video call, which he recorded. In January 2024, accused No.2 called her to his house and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her multiple times using blackmail. Unable to endure the harassment, the complainant attempted suicide on January 3, 2025, was hospitalized, and later suffered from depression. Upon regaining mental stability, she approached the police station and requested to take necessary legal action.

Petitioner averred in this petition that she has not committed any offence and she was falsely implicated in the aforesaid crime. Even according to the allegations made in the complaint, Section 376(2)(n) of IPC are not attracted against the petitioner and the only allegation levelled against the petitioner is that accused No.2 has taken the mobile number of the victim from the petitioner. is a pregnant woman and she is not having any other criminal antecedents and she is ready and willing to cooperate with the investigation and also abide by the conditions which are going to be imposed by this Court.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has committed grave offence and the investigation is under progress and at this stage if the petitioner is enlarged on anticipatory bail, there is every chance to interfere with the investigation and also influence the witness. Hence, prayed to dismiss the petition. 7.
Having considered the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and after perusal of the material available on record, it reveals that there are no specific allegations against the petitioner to attract the ingredients of Section 376(2)(n) of IPC and the only allegation levelled against the petitioner is that she has taken mobile number of the victim from the petitioner. The record further reveals that the petitioner is a housewife and is pregnant. In proof of the same, she has filed medical certificates along with the petition. Even according to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, petitioner is not having any other criminal antecedents.

Taking into consideration the said facts, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner/accused No.4 subject to the following conditions.
1. The petitioner/accused No.4 shall surrender before the Station House Officer of Saroornagar Police Station, Hyderabad, on or before 30.06.2025, and on such surrender, the said Station House Officer shall release the petitioner/accused No.4 on bail on her executing a personal bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) with two sureties, for a like sum each.
2. After release, the petitioner/accused No.4 shall appear before the concerned SHO as and when her presence is required.
3. The petitioner/accused No.4 shall abide by the other conditions stipulated in Section 482 (2) Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhitha, 2023 and co-operate with the Investigating Officer in investigating the case. 9.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, stand closed.
