Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned counsel for second respondent.

The petitioner states that she is a student studying D Pharmacy II Year with the third respondent college. She was attending regularly to the classes. When she was bit by illness and on the medical advice she was not attending the college, she was not allowed to pay the examination fee also even though she submitted the medical certificate. In those circumstances, though she submitted representation on 25.02.2017 to the third respondent when the third respondent has not considered the said representation, the present writ petition is filed.

In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, no details with regard to the absence from the college indicated. However, medical certificate filed along with the writ petition shows that the said certificate was issued by one 'Madina Clinic' stating that the petitioner was suffering from cholera associated with viral hepatitis since August, 2016 to October, 2016. Learned counsel for the second respondent submits that the petitioner has put in 49% attendance and the required percentage is 75%. Even though condonation is granted, she has to put in atleast 65% attendance. Since the petitioner did not put in the required attendance, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. __________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J 15.03.2017 pln
