Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home. With consent of the counsel appearing for both sides, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent Nos.4 and 5 are calling the petitioner to the police station frequently without there being any complaint against him.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Home submits that the respondent-police will not summon the petitioner except in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents-police to be mindful of the limits of their duties contemplated under the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure and shall not summon the petitioner except in accordance with law.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
