This writ petition was filed assailing the proceedings dated 04.10.2012 of the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, Anantapur, State of Andhra Pradesh, ordering suspension of the shop licence held by the petitioner. By order 10.10.2012, this Court granted interim suspension of the impugned proceedings dated 04.10.2012.

The licence of the petitioner which was subjected to suspension was valid up to 30.06.2013 only. In that view of the matter, this writ petition has become infructuous and needs no consideration on merits.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
