HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.30854 OF 2017 ORDER:

The case of the petitioner is that disciplinary proceedings issued on 25-09-2016 were initiated by way of charge memo and the petitioner submitted explanation on 04-10-2016. Thereafter, enquiry officer was appointed on 07-10-2016 and enquiry report submitted by Special Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition) on 27-10-2016. Thereafter, no action has been taken and the disciplinary proceedings are kept pending, which is affecting the promotion chance of the petitioner as the juniors to the petitioner was already promoted vide proceedings dated 01-08-2017. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, since already enquiry officer has submitted report on 27-10-2016, which is stated to be in favour of the petitioner, disciplinary authority is directed to take further action and conclude the disciplinary proceedings as soon as possible within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel to the

disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
