Earlier, petitioners herein questioning the order passed by the Deputy Director of Social Welfare, Bhongir, Nalgonda District vide Proceedings No.B2/381/2013, dated 07.12.2013, wherein the Deputy Director of Social Welfare informed the Management of the petitioners' colleges that if the management was willing to provide accommodation in the college attached hostels @ Rs.12,000/- per annum the department has no objection to permit the management to run the hostel in their campus, filed W.P.No.37401 of 2013 and the same is pending consideration before this Court.

Pending the said writ petition, on 03.04.2018, the petitioners herein submitted a representation to the State Government and the Commissioner of Social Welfare Department/respondents 1 and 2 herein, requesting to accord permission from the academic year 2018-2019 with a condition to collect only the maintenance charges @ 1500/- totaling Rs.15,000/- per annum or as prescribed by the Social Welfare Department from time to time.

The grievance of the petitioner in the above back ground is that despite the lapse of considerable length of time, no action whatsoever has been taken by the respondent No.2 and in view of the same petitioners' institutions are sustaining irreparable loss and hardship. 4.

Having heard the learned Government Pleader and the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ

petition with a direction to the second respondent herein to verify the representation dated 03.04.2018 said to have submitted by the petitioners herein and take appropriate action/pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks form the date of receipt of this order. This order is without prejudice to the right of the petitioners herein to pursue W.P.No.37401 of 2013. 5.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
