THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35958 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition, under Article 226 of Constitution of India, is filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to proceed with the investigation in Crime No.263 of 2016 of Mills Colony Police Station, Warangal District and take action against the accused therein and consequently, to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner by calling him to the police station and not to interfere with his personal life and liberty. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.5 registered the aforementioned crime for the offences under Sections 323, 447, 420, 365 and 506 read with 34 I.P.C. and though he is having sufficient evidence, he is not taking any steps to investigate into the matter and file charge sheet and he is also harassing him by calling to the police station and interfering with his personal life and liberty.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, respondent No.5 is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.263 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) months from today. He is further directed not to harass the petitioner and not to interfere with his personal life and liberty. 5.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
