THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE N.BALAYOGI CONTEMPT CASE NOs.993, 996, 1051 and 1099 OF 2018 C O M M O N O R D E R (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) These contempt cases were instituted alleging willful disobedience to the common order dated 19.09.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.No.9654 of 2016 and batch. The matter pertains to finalization of seniority in the cadre of Inspectors of Police and the consequential promotional cadre of Deputy Superintendents of Police (Civil).

We are informed that the State of Andhra Pradesh has purportedly completed this exercise and the same is subjected to challenge before this Court.
