THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.5027 OF 2014 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader for respondents.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "...............WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the Respondent No.2 herein in not granting permission to conduct Tribal Festival on 24-2-2014 at Kataram village and Mandal, Karimnagar District as per the application dated 14-2-2014 as illegal, arbitrary and violating of Article 19 of the Constitution of India and Fundamental Rights guaranteed Under the Constitution and pass such other order or orders............" Having heard the learned counsel appearing for both the parties and from the perusal of the prayer sought in the writ petition, this Court is of the opinion that since the Tribal Festival sought to be celebrated was on 24.02.2014 at Kataram Village and Mandal, Karimnagar District, the cause of action in the writ petition ended by 24.02.2014 itself. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed.
