HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.13949 OF 2018 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Mirza Safiulla Beig, learned Standing counsel for the Telangana State Wakf Board.

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief :- "...............Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents more particularly the respondent No.2 in not considering the representation dated 20.07.2016 of the petitioners in respect of Wakf property bearing Municipal No.11-6-225, situated at Beside Aziza Hotel, Nampally, Hyderabad, beside not including their names as legal heirs of the deceased tenant Mohd.Jahangir Ali Khan, as arbitrary, ex facie illegal and high handed and consequently direct the respondent No.2 to consider the petitioners representation dated 20.07.2016 ............." It has been contended by the petitioners that they are the tenants of the Wakf property bearing Municipal No.11-6-225, situated beside Aziza Hotel, Nampally, Hyderabad and they are the legal heirs of the original lessee.

The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondents are not including their names as the legal heirs of the original lessee i.e. Mohd. Jahangir Ali Khan, inspite of their representation dated 20.07.2016. Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioners contends that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 20.07.2016 submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Learned Government Pleader as well as the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents contends that case of the petitioners would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on the representation submitted by the petitioners on 20.07.2016 in accordance with law. This Court, having considered the rival submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners on 20.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a reasonable period preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
