This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondents 3 and 4 in calling the petitioner to the police station at the behest of 5th respondent and demanding the petitioner to handover his premises bearing H.No.10-4-26, Tekulapalli Village, Khammam Urban Mandal, Khammam District, to the 5th respondent. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions dt.02.08.2019 submitted by the Inspector of Police, Khanapuram Haveli P.S., Khammam District, wherein it is stated that they have received complaint from one Seelam Ramulu on 20.07.2019; that the same was enquired into and found to be civil in nature; and that as such, the parties were advised to approach civil Court for appropriate orders. The other allegations are denied. But, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the respondent police are calling the petitioner to police station at the instance of 5th respondent and pressurising the petitioner to hand over possession of the aforesaid house.
Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner, except in accordance with law,
and not to pressurise the petitioner to hand over the possession of the aforesaid house to the 5th respondent. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
