ORDER

This writ petition was filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in issuing retirement notice to the petitioner contrary to Act 4 of 2014, dated 27.6.2014 as arbitrary and illegal.

This Court in a batch of writ petitions directed the concerned Societies and Banks to take decision with regard to the retirement age.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 submits that they have taken a decision to retain the age of 58 years as the date of superannuation and the petitioner had attained the age of 58 years and also relieved from duties on 30.4.2016.

In view of retirement of the petitioner and fixing the age of 58 years as the date of superannuation, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
