ORDER

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.840 of 2016 of Prohibition and Excise, Dhoolpet, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Section 8 (c) r/w Sec. 20(b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act, 1985. 2.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners/accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor, representing the State.

3. As per the allegations in the complaint, there is a prima facie case to proceed against the petitioners. Therefore, this is not a fit case where the proceedings against them can be quashed. The matter requires thorough investigation by the police. I see no grounds to quash the proceedings in this crime. 4.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
