THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTI CE ANI S WRI T PETI TI ON No.42026 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Justice Sanjay Kumar) This writ petition was filed seeking implementation of the order dated 05.08.2014 passed by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, in O.A.No.7342 of 2012. By the said order, the Tribunal set aside the proceedings dated 01.09.2010 and 21.03.2012, whereby the services of the petitioner were terminated, and remitted the matter to the authorities to issue a show-cause notice to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with the rules after consideration of his reply. This exercise was directed to be completed within a time frame.

Learned Government Pleader for Services (Telangana) concedes that no writ petition was filed by the authorities assailing the aforestated order passed by the Tribunal and that the file in relation to implementation of the said order is in process. That being so, it is not open to the respondents to fail to implement the order passed by the Tribunal within the time frame stipulated. Though it is stated that the file is in process, we are of the opinion that the authorities cannot drag their feet once a time stipulation was fixed by the Tribunal.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take steps in terms of the order dated 05.08.2014 passed by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, in O.A.No.7342 of 2012 and complete the exercise within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. _______________ SANJAY KUMAR, J _____________ ANI S, J 14th February, 2017.
